If you're comfortable using linux you might want to give vinux a try. It's an Ubuntu derivative made for and by the visually impaired community. It can be found at: http://vinuxproject.org Hope this can help. Flip

Conduit search protect, help in killing and removing

Hello Everyone, I've got an x86 win7 box that came to me for help. The report was the internet was slow and the box had slowed down. Well, checking it I know why, someone had turned *off* UAC entirely and installed a bunch of stuff, a tpm (Trusted platform module) program, and a wireless driver it looks like someone was atempting to do win7 wireless sniffing just as a guess. There were also a torrent program and something called zlosk messenger that was the obvious stuff, in addition there's something called conduit search protect which is malware, and was described by a page on the net as having rootkit characteristics but not being one. Well, I've thrown essentials and malware bytes at it, both with the latest updates, and that's not clearing it. Some pages show recommendations to deal with it, but I have never heard of any of the programs, they're not made by a familiar vendor so I don't touch them. I've got the box disconnected from the net, in my experience some of this malware phones home as I call it for help, which is what I don't want. I'd appreciate any recommendations or if you've fought and killed this thing previously what you've used. Thanks. Dave.

hello friends please, need your help 1- could i find a talking boot CD like hyren cd, or anti-virus, build on pe-windows or even linux? 2- to use teamviewer both computer must have the same screen-reader? for example i've nvda and need to access computer have narator only or jaws, it it possible? thanks

domain registrar won't contact me

Hello, I've got two domains, more than that, but two for this message, hosted at adotname.com they are not responding to my support contact requests. I am wondering what to do? Secondary question, if I have to move these two domains and I might, what are recommendations? I'm also needing to change billing, and contact information for these domains so maybe a new registrar would be best. Thanks. Dave.

VmWare backup solutions

Hi, I am looking at what people are using to backup ESXI 5.1 environments these days. I am used to using a backup storage appliance/VTL with backup agents running inside the VMs, with a backup software running on a physical server doing the collection work, but know this isn't efficient. Shared storage will be used in this environment, and I am happy to use VSS snapshots. Any suggestions? Thanks. Andrew.
