versapoint networked via a trendnet print server

Good morning listers, Has anyone out there ever connected a versapoint braille embosser to a print server using a parallel port? If so I would be interested in talking with you. I have tried to do so and I only get the first 11 pages of a braille document and the printer stops. Hello Everyone, I've got what I suspect to some of you will seem a trivial problem, but I'm not good with Perl, regular expressions, or pattern matching which is what I'm suspecting this one is going to take, though time wise running it should be quick enough. Here's the situation. I need to look at various files for the web, in this case css style sheet files, in them they have styles not used on any page so I want to remove the style in question. I've got several style sheet files, several sites to do this to, and several pages though a majority of them are quite similar. For example, some sheets have the <blockquote> tag in it, and a style set up for that. What I want to do is take each individual style I'll use blockquote and scan the pages of the site, if that isn't found on any page remove it from the sheet. The hard part comes in when dealing with contextual selectors and classes, but the same thing, scan each page for the contextual selector, ID, or class in question from the sheet, if found even on one page out of the whole site leave it alone, if no pages have that particular item remove it. I need this done for all pages, all sheets, and all sites. I can do this, if someone can get me started, and would be willing to help out with questions as I'm sure there will be some, I've tried reading about Perl regular expressions and my head hurts. Any assistance appreciated. Thanks. Dave.

explorer runtime error during cut, copy, paste operations

Hello Everyone, I'm getting the below error when atempting to cut, copy, or paste folders or files on my computer. Here's the error: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program: C:\WINDOWS\Expl EXE This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. OK I noticed it for the first time last evening when atempting to copy content off of an sd card to my computer. I didn't think anything of it at that point because that card had been put through the ringer and I assumed it was in the process of going bad. I did a chkdsk /f on the sd card followed up by a defrag and was able to copy the content. Later in the evening the sd card removed I was atempting to copy the same content off the computer on to a USB stick and got the same message, this time chkdsk on the stick revealed nothing wrong, I should mention that sd card did have errors on it and were corrected by the chkdsk. Now segeway to the morning, I'm not even dealing with the same content, same usb stick or sd card, I'm trying to copy content from an external USB terabyte drive to my computer, I got the same error. This time I actually had to reboot the box. Now I went to the terabyte drive and tried to copy the content from one folder to another on it, and again got the same message. If anyone has any suggestions I'd urgently like to hear them! Thanks. Dave.

Migrating from Exchange 2007 to 2010.

Greetings, I was wondering if any of you would be able to suggest a solution to the following problem? Sinario: 1 Exchange server running version 2007. New exchange server running on 2010. Public folders seem to have been replicated across ok and the 2010 server is configured to be the primary server now. Replication has finally been removed from the 2007 server. Windows 8

Hello all. Has anyone tried the Windows 8 Developer Preview, released last week? What do you all think of it? I am trying it in a VMware virtual machine and it's pretty good. NVDA is already working well for the most part. I hear System Access and even Window-Eyes does as well. But not JAWS, at least the 13.0 public beta. OSX 10.6 server

Hello, Is anyone running an OSX 10.6 server? If so, are you running an ssh server on it? I've been asked to set up mail services on one, but have never worked with OSX before, I know it's BSD-based at least in it's unixishness I doubt that's a word and the software such as the MTA I do know, but have never been on a box. If anyone has one I'd like to discuss getting a look around via ssh. Related, but I think I know about this question, does anyone have access to VNC? Thanks. Dave.
