In aditition, make sure VMWare Tools are up to date, you can check this from the virtual machine menu in Workstation. Also, in adition to the audio service being started and set to automatic, with the VM powered down make sure there is, in fact, a virtual sound card added and connected under virtual machine settings. What version of Workstation are you running? The latest is 7.1.2. I can't work out how to get the Virtual PC to capture input like with Workstation. I put it in full-screen mode thinking that might do it, but nope. Does Virtual PC even work for us? Deeply appreciate any replys. I will be meeting with their IT guy tomorrow but I've already missed one lab. Now the instructor did say I can do those labs tomorrow but this means already works mounting on me. So if I can get this sorted ASAP it would take some of the heat off. Not something I really want to be messing around with on a Fast Track Cert course. Hello, Does anyone have any free AV recommendations? I posted on this last week and got suggestions that were out of my range. I've tried Avast5, and the only reason it's still on is because i don't have anything else. I am not impressed with it, it's interface is in my opinion a step backward, it doesn't have any of the features 4 did, and system stability has taken a major nose dive since I installed it. Thanks. Free Digital Email Certificate

Hello, I just reinstalled a box that was using a Thawte free email digital certificate to secure email communications. That service is now gone and the key is about to expire. I'd like to know if there are any alternatives that people are using? I'd like for maximum client compatibility preferably without having to manually install the company's intermediate cert? Thanks. Is VMWare lab manager accessible?

The subject says it all. I'd like to use VMWare lab manager instead of VMWare workstation for some of my virtual machines to make sharing them easier, as well as having the backups automated by our corporate IT department. Is lab manager accessible with Jaws or any other screen reading software?

David I've taken several classes from them and haven't had a problem. Just like any other classroom setting, you need to communcate your needs to the instructor, and most will be willing to help. Each office is different in how their lab setups work, so I can't tell you what to expect. Just do your homework, know your screen reader and perhaps have a quick play with the UI for what yu're learning and go for it.
