I'm presently running a mail server for my personal domain via a Linux installation hosted at linode.com. It works well, and the virtual machine is also offering various other services that I've configured (DNS, a small Web server, telephony via FreeSWITCH - not functional at the moment but likely to be reconfigured when I have time, etc.). There is no calendar, though I would like one that is compatible with both iOS devices and Microsoft Outlook. The main problem with the mail server is spam. I've tried SpamAssassin, rspamd and, the most successful of the options, crm114, which regrettably isn't currently maintained but still runs. The best that I've been able to achieve regrettably yields too many false positives. Thus my options are either to rework the antispam solution or to consider having the mail hosted by a large mail provider. Google and Microsoft, for example, can host, but it appears that one has to be a business in order to host domains with them, under a business plan. Of course, I love command line administration and the flexibility to configure everything - I would rather not go to an entirely Web-based UI designed for nontechnical users that doesn't provide the desired degree of control. I'm not running a business of any kind - I'm an individual in ongoing, full-time employment. If I don't do anything else I will be migrating to the Office365 personal next year instead of paying for the Office software as part of the subscription as it works out cheaper and gives you 1GB of OneDrive space per account which is actually quite useful as other apps use OneDrive personal and can't access OneDrive Business. windows and virtual environments

I have read threads on this from time to time. Here is my situation: I may soon be in a work situation where I need to setup windows 2012R2 from the ground up. This will be on a VmWare server. I have successfully installed windows server in a vmware workstation environment. Sound with workstation works because I am on the same physical machine and I get speech in the PE disk. How do you or can you get speech durring a install when the install is on a VmWare server? If you can't get speech, how can you use the system? For a bonus, Later I will be asked to setup windows server images in the ec2 cloud. I use the Linux systems there just fine, but can those systems be used? Also, I have a Xen server as well I can use if that works better. I use Xen with multiple types of Unixhish systems and have work arounds to access those systems. If anyone has any experience at all, I would appreciate it. I suspect I will have to do a lot of customizing for this to even work at all. Thanks in advance for any thoughts. -- Kelly Prescott

Digital Ocean control panel issue?

Hi list. Anyone else had trouble with the DO panel, using JFW? Specifically, Using JFW16 and IE 11. I'm trying to create a monitoring policy. I've filled out all the form fields but the create button at the bottom is still grey'd out. I then tried the same thing in Google Chrome but Chrome doesn't seem to present the whole webpage to JAWS> All I get is a button to view a tutorial on one of Digital Ocean's other other features. Migrate from Office365 to Outlook.com

Hi, For those of us who use Office365 as Exchange accounts for personal use, you may like to know that outlook.com is now powered by Exchange Online and has the same features as Office365. You need to subscribe to Outlook Premium and pay a domain adding fee yearly to get this, but that gives you 5 email addresses. For those of us with 5 Office365 subscriptions that is quite a saving. portable power

Hello, I'm in the market for portable power. I am looking for recommendations for products that people have bought, used, and liked, and why you like them. The first is a portable power bank. My goal is portability, but the biggest battery I can find. I've read about several, I don't mind if it looks like a brick, if it can go in a laptop bag it can go with me, but it's got to have a big battery, be able to handle multiple devices if needed, and would be nice if it would support quick charge/fast charge. The second item I'm looking for is a wireless fast charging pad. I've seen a few of them, ones by Choetech but they don't have the charger with them and some of them are not even fast charging, they're just wireless. Any recommendations appreciated. Thanks. Dave.

Automatically installing and accessing Windows Server 2016 in a non-domain environment?

Does anyone have examples of automatically installing Windows Server 2016 in such a way that it is possible to use the server with screen reading software after the install is complete? At the least after the install is complete I'd like to be able to get a remote powershell session in that I could then hopefully use to install screen reading software. Unfortunately my personal machine is in a domain, but the VM I would use to install Windows Server would not be joined to a domain. My understanding is this makes getting remote access much more complicated since you can't just enter a password to get a remote powershell session like you can with SSH. Any advice on this would be appreciated. Note I'm using Hyperv as the hypervisor, and don't care what screen reader I can use to access the server.
