Azure issues - Update from Microsoft.

Hello, Please find an update from Microsoft in relation to the Azure accessibility issues I reported in December. This looks promising but hopefully fixes will be released between now and March. Hi Darragh, I'm sorry that a response took so long. There were a lot of "out of office" replies in the month of December. For your issues.... 1. the link to add subnets and add Subnet gateway is not properly labelled. * This is an extension issue and is just now being assessed by the product group for being fixed. 2. It is no longer possible to select the location for your Azure resource. a grid might or might not appear but pressing space doesn't add the contents to the edit box. * This is a larger issue with grid and we are aware of this, the fix will go live in March 3. Sometimes Jaws gets stuck. During this time when pressing shift and E, instead of looking for the last edit field it's telling me I'm not in a table. * This is now logged and in the backlog. 4. Adding a site to site connection on the virtual network gateway. Unable to select a local network gateway. The blade appears blank. * This is an extension issue and is just now being assessed by the product group for being fixed. It is not an easy process. You'd really need to stay on top of it if you want some accommodations. In addition to studying the material you would need to always call them to make sure everything is as planned etc. I think about 8-9 years ago, I took my A+ and Network+ with a reader, passed no problem, but when things came down to Microsoft certs, the reader didn't show up, I was really bombed out, totally said forget it, I am not doing it any more. Maybe things have changed since, wish you good luck. It's like a joke for them, but for me, 3 month of Studying, many calls and on hold to confirm everything is on schedule as planned, finding baby sitter for the day, asking my wife to take a day off to take me to testing center an hour away because the closest one is not accessible "supposedly," and all they can say that the reader is not here, please reschedule. Oh, yes, please deal with refunding and ordering and paying for new cert/appointment on your own as well. I wonder if with Microsoft now offering online proctored exams ... how could they ultimately tell if someone is reading to you on the backend? Applying for accomodation through Pearson Vue

Hello Folks I am going through the process of applying to complete the Security Plus creditation with CompTIA. However, I have been advised by the examination centre that I must first register with Pearson Vue. They have a process of providing accomodations for folks who need this. I am experiencing difficulty with this process. 1. They do not appear to have specific accommodation for blind persons. 2. The website doesn't allow me to complete the process of applying for an accommodation. 3. There's nobody to contact about this. Before I start digging deeper, has anyone out there had similar problems in the past with Pearson Vue, with regards to applying for accomodations. Happy New Year All, I ran into the same problem with the Microsoft Certs a few years ago and never tried again. I took the exam twice and failed it because the reader that Prometric cent couldn't read proper English. I had to do some hunting but this is what I found. Their accomodations request system is a "crock". Working with their tech support was fruitless because they could not or would not tell me why emails sent to my address were not being sent by their system. I do have an accomodations number, it is 800 466 0450 also you will need to complete on of their accomodations request forms and your docotor will need to fill out a form to essentially veriffy what is needed. Once all the forms are filled out you have to wait until they are reviewed and then you will be able to schedule an exam. I am at form completed stage in the process. I haven't sent the forms back to pearson yet.
