Exchange Server 2016 and ESET

Do any of you have Exchange Server 2016 running ESET anti-virus software for Exchange? Access to e-mail with Outlook simply stopped around noon yesterday for no apparent reason. Having spent last night and into the early hours of this morning on to MS Technical Support (in Bombay), as a last move, they advised the removal of ESET which, I hasten to add I was extremely reluctant to do. The removal process took an abnormally long time, but after a re-boot, all was back working again. (Apart from a ton of mail that would otherwise have been stopped!) Has anyone experienced similar? MS seemed quite confident, as if we were not the first to have such an issue. ESET themselves are baffled, but with their support, we will be trying a re-install later today. George

Hi Andrew: Thanks a lot for the feedback. I did forward it onto the Azure Devops accessibility team and they are working through the issues you raised. We do test Azure DevOps pretty regularly, but as its such a large project we can be testing one part while a change is made in another part we may not catch right away. This happens in some other places with VSTS as well (namely the search options) but usually I can get out of that by pressing escape. not so in this instance. Anyone else using this and seeing similar? Using latest versions of Chrome and JFW 2018. Thanks. Access to Azure DevOps (was VSTS)

Hi, I have been using VSTS in various forms for a few years now. I find I can get my way around the build and release pipeline editors ok with a screen reader and some messing about in various places, but nothing too horible. I have not used it before for story management on the Agile platform, mainly using Jira before. We have now moved to using VSTS work items instead of Jira and I am finding it a real mess. Online course for HTML question

Hi all, Some time ago, I read that Ciscovission had an academy for visually impaired where you could learn HTML5 through an online course, but that doesn't seem to be available anymore. Does anyone have any tips on online courses one can take as a visually impaired person to learn HTML5 and go further with Wordpress, etc? Many thanks, Christian

Instead of her putting it into sleep mode, maybe have her Log off Windows+L and then log back on? But daily she remains in the building within the network. Obviously everytime she detaches from the dock wich is hard wired to the network, she then switches to wi-fi. And somewhere in there going in and out of sleep mode often. Yes I could apply a gpo that would disable the sleep mode. I advised her to shutdown when disconnecting and moving around, instead of using sleep mode, but she said that would be rather inconvenient. I suppose I could create a bat file that delivers the net use command to remap the drives and put it on her desktop. She could run that whenever she finds the drives gone. She reports that randomly when trying to save an excel dock, or browse to a network drive in a web browser her network drives are gone. I also confirmed that she disconnects and reconnects to her dock about 5 to 10 times a day and puts the tablet in sleep mode. I have always been aware that laptops going to sleep don't always regain network connectivity reliably. Anyone have any thoughts on best practices to avoid network drive loss for a Surface Pro user who moves around allot?
