Hi, there are some adaptors available. Old issues of the PTR2 only can handle SD cards up to 2 GB. With the actual firmware the PTR2 is able to use 32 GB cards. I am writing to ask if there is an adaptor which will allow my wife to use S D cards in her PTR2. This machine only records on compact flash cards, which she can't get any more. I am wondering if there is an adaptor which you can plug into the flash socket which will allow you to record and play S D cards. Peter

Hi Rich, The Linio has a very neat calendar, an alarm feature with five alarms and the option to use custom sounds, and 8 GB of internal memory. Apart from that, it's extremely similar to the PTP1 Pocket. One other difference I can think of is that, I believe, it has a new Podcast function which should make finding and subscribing to podcasts easier than it was before, but I haven't investigated that yet so others might like to comment. Hi all, Well, according to the Plextalk twitter and facebook, one can now buy the Linio pocket in the states. For those who have the Linio, what are the differences between it and the pocket ptp1? Need help finding a PRS produced title

I created a daisy title using the PRS software. It is not in the folder I thought it should have gone into. I'm using Windows 7 so I did locate it using the search function in the Start menu. But, I'm not very nimble in navigating the results. Can someone help describe how I determine what folder and file path the search results are in? Thanks, Jeff

My PTR2 is behaving strangely

For some time now I have experienced odd things happening with my PTR2. It will suddenly shoot up the speed and tone to the highest levels, either while I am playing something or even while it is not playing. On some occasions it has been difficult for me to stop it continually saying tone 6 and getting things back to normal. I try shutting down, and a while later it will suddenly come to life again and start playing where I have left off. I have tried shutting down and turning the mains off, but it even has been known to boot up with the mains off. I have had it for a few years, and do enjoy not only playing disks but also recording from various sources. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Wendy
