Hi all, is there any advantage, or disadvantage to changing to the Canadian firm ware? Will my NLS key still work? Will it be able to read .BRF files? This is my one pet peeve with the Plex Talk, the fact that the Book Port, wich is the same hardware can do this, but the US version of the plex Talk can not. Hi, There has been an issue with this list and some members who are on specific ISPs. The issue is now fixed but some members may have received a bounce message telling them their subscription has been disabled. If you enable the subscription again everything should be fine. The issue stems from DMARC polocies at some isps. Thanks. Andrew.

I bought 2 of them. They were $50 each time. I think I got mine from IRTI. But surprisingly, it was the same price every place I sought for it. The one I have does not have a battery; the static is the hinge thing. But forgive me if I'm stepping on the discussion. Beginners Issue

I downloaded the manual from the official web site. The total pages was 106. I then had an occasion to get a printed copy from the vendor from whom I purchased the Pocket and the total pages was 123. I don't know if the difference is significant. Utilizing a hardcopy manual is big help with a learning curve that I find very steep. I have found that Bob Smith of PLEXTALK NorthAmerica division to be very reliably responsive to phone calls and to emails. Jim

Pele West: Regarding your message of 24Apr15 at 3.47am about the 'Sleep Timer'. I looked at the manual and could not find a reference to the 'Power Mode'. Please explain.

When I use the sleep timer on my Plexxtalk Pocket, I notice that at the end of the time selected the device only goes into Power Save and does not turn off completely. Is this how it works? Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks Fran.

Hi I have just bought the Plextalk pocket. I was using the booksense for Audible. Will i need to delete the audible manager before adding the softward for the Plextalk pocket. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Fran.
