Hello all ptn2 users and everyone else interested. A while ago, my ptn2 battery gave in. It did know longer hold a full charge. I decided that there is no use of it furder and I removed the battery and the screw wich holded the cover. Now I like the fact that the unit tells me that no battery is installed. But here is the thing: I was expecting the date and time to be completely rong, as it was more than a month without a battery, and I always thought that it must be the battery that also holded the clock settings. However, now I found that the date and time was still correct. This leads me to think that the ptn2 like computers, must maybe have a small battery in the motherboard or somewhere wich does this job. Intresting. Wunder what is the case with other units such as ptr2?

Hello Arno. In your e-mail you said that the PTR 2 could cope with S D cards. This is news to me. Am I missing a trick here? Is there a socket that I have not found, or are you using a flash to S D card adaptor? It will be good to know. We are unable to find flash cards nowadays, so it would also be good to know of a different supplier. CF cards

A while ago I bought four new CF cards to use in my Plextor PTR2. Two of them are fine, but the other two don't seem to be recognised by my player. It reports that there is no free space on the cards, but I know there is nothing on them. I have sought advice from some technical friends, and have tried both cards on my computer. Going into properties, it reports that the cards are fine, having the normal amount of free space for 4GB cards. I did a check for errors on the properties tools tab, and the report was that everything was ok. Can anyone give any further advice, or are they just dud cards? Wendy

Cannot update key episodes in podcast flist

Hi, That (or something like it) is the message i get when I try. I've somehow lost the facility to update podcasts or download all podcast in the feed, on my PlexTalk Pocket. I can transfer them from the PC and can tune in radio stations on it. When i delete a podcast, the folder also is gone. Should the Podcast Feed manager also be on the PTP? At the moment, it appears not to be. Empty podcast feeds are not picked up by the PTP. I must have deleted something I shouldn't have, I think, or how should I restore the podcast update functionality on the PTP? Thanks.

help with my plextalk pocket please

Hi I am trying to change the firmware on my plextalk pocket, I cannot seem to change the uk firmware to the us version, I cannot tolerate the uk tts voices, they are very hard to listen to when I read a book, I have unzipped the files from the plextalk web page but I am just getting two folders, no exe file, what am I doing wrong, is it possible my antivirus is stopping or killing the exe file? I cannot see such a message, I have tried two different sd cards, I have the pocket plugged in to the electric. Regards Adrien

Hi I have put my epub books on my plextalk in folders with author's name, I found it tricky to find my way around the list of folders, is there a quicker or better way of sorting them please?
