music cd's and ptr2

Ok, for those who no and use ptr2, I have an idea a little bit what to look for when it comes to music cd's, as they say, it must be a cd that is intended for primery use in a cd recorder or have an audio logo or something. The examples plextalk give on their site and the help I got in their emails didn't help me enough in this matter, could anyone give me more of a clear idea what to look for? What must be rittin on the packaging of such cd's? Ptr2 won't except recording of music cd format (digital audio) on a normal data cd, and I need to no what to look for in order to find the correct type of disk. I no that amazon also sold some of them, but that won't help me as i'm not in the US. Any ideas?

Does anyone know what the processor is in the Plextalk Pocket? I'm wondering this because of the boot up time. Essentially, you will save more power if you turn the unit off completely. I believe that the only thing that is then using power is the internal clock. The point of the Power Save mode is to be more efficient than it would be if you left the unit switched on. The disadvantage of switching off completely is that it takes around 40 or 50 seconds to boot up again whereas from Power Save mode it is almost instant. Hence it is a case of "what you win on the swings, you lose on the roundabouts". If rapid use is important, then leave it turned on, if battery life is important, switch the unit off completely. If you want the in between option, go for Power Save mode. Hope that makes it clearer. Is the ptn1 stil available? I thought its replaced by the ptn2. Wel that is what it looks like on the plextalk site. Hi, sure, I respect what you feel and its all fine. Wel, I love the ptr2 the way it is, but maybe they could make it a little faster, when you press keys like volume and such, and just in general its not nice that ptp1 get new features but ptr2 don't. I mean why don't they also give it guide speed and guide volume for example? Ed Lopez back here. It has ben a wile sense I ben on this list, it sounds like you may have a bad sell in the battery. I only use memory cards made by Sandisc. I get the hyer speed memory cards. That is, the memory on the cards has a more faster transfer rate. This also may save on battery life as well. I get about 7 to 8 hours on my PTP1 in recording and playing. Try giving the battery a good drain and charging it for a good 8 hours. If this doesn't help, I would get another battery.
