Hi. Where do I get the northamerican firmware for my linio pocket. I can't find it on the plextalk websight.

I had 3 plextalk 2 machines. I just gave one away; i'd had the button pad replaced twice; it still isn't very good, for it takes so much pressure to press the keys. it works, but not too well. the person wants the user's guide. I know I've got it on a cd somewhere. He downloaded what he thought was the users guide; but it is something else, or not right somehow. Where do you really get the users guide. not sure of sight and sound batteries. I bought one for a plextalk cd player a short while ago for about £46 and it was alright at first but when I didnt use it for about 3 weeks the battery wouldnt charge and the player wouldnt work off the mains with the battery in. Probably old stock. Please feel free to write to Bob Smith about anything Plextalk. -- All batteries are user serviceable. The PTN2/PTX1 does need a small Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw holding the door.
