Hi all, Our current Call Manager 4.x servers are creaking under their age, and we are looking at replacing this either with a new Cisco telephony system or a completely new system altogether. The system has to use IP as the connection to the handsets, as we don't want to add in more cables. Has anyone any experience in deploying a new Call manager setup, or a similar telephony system, and how was the accessibility? Thanks. Andrew.

Hi folks, I posted the other day, that my machine kept booting up in the WRE. Really because of a few improper shutdowns. I thought that it's UI was like the Boot menu with F8. i.e. 1, then return would boot in normal mode. I've since got some eyes on the case and to boot in normal mode if you get yourself stuck in the WRE, it's down cursor once, then return. No numbering at all. By default it's sat on launch repair or somesuch. Which presumably brings up further windows. I thought I'd pass this along, as there was no responses and this might help out folks in future. Windows 7/Image For Windows/Viruses

Hi folks, i'm embarrassed to say but I've just gotten a virus that's taken out my Desktop Windows 7 machine down. Had all updates installed, and was running Eset Smart Security, www.eset.com I said on Twitter today that I noticed TCp/IP ping requests triggering my Firewall. I denied these access, then all of a sudden a mysterious setup.exe was trying to communicate witha remote computer. I denied this access as well then became concerned. So i then ran an in-depth scan of the local disk. It found two viruses, but could not clean them. I then rebooted my computer and it gets to the User Account log-in screen, freezes half-way throughthe startup chime, then reboots. This then just loops. Thankfully I have the machine imaged from about 2 months back, all media etc is on external drives and documents are backed up on external drives and Dropbox. It's more about getting a working system back up and running now as I had servers configured etc on this Windows install. I have two images on external drives that I created using Image For Windows by Terabyte, but how do I restore these without sighted help? And even then with sighted help if it becomes necessary? Is there a boot disk for Image For Windows so I can get in and select the image files to restore, and if so how to I get this? i still have my seriel etc in a file on DropboxI need as close to step by step as you can manage. i will then take this information, collate it and create a document ont he blindsys admins web site. As we really need to have this sortive of thing documented. ,smiles> for Image For Windows. Regards, Barry.

Hi folks, My laptops booting in to the WRE, but I suspect alls fine. A few in-proper shutdowns probably caused it. I've verified it's in WRE with the iPhone App VIZWIZ. Any keystrokes to get it booting normally? Can I tap for example f8 when booting & have some clue whent he startup menu pops up? With 1 being start normally, so hit 1, then return? I'll not have any eyes on this for a few days so if I can get it sorted before hand that would be great. Regards, barry.

Some folks in the company I worked for found a VB solution and I was able to access all controls that I needed for basic admin via the browser. Pushing software, checking add/remove inventory, system specs, other functions I can't recall.
