System Center 2012R2

Hi: Has anyone had a chance to play yet with any of the System Center 2012R2 releases? Just yesterday I was able to spin up a VM with Windows Server 2012R2 and SCCM 2012R2 to play with. For better or worse, accessibility does not yet seem to have changed between 2012 and 2012R2, any issues I had in 2012 still are there with 2012R2, but I'm going to keep digging. Was wondering if this was other people's assessment too? Ryan

Draytek routers, QUOS over WIFI?

Hi folks, Would any of you know where to start setting this up? I've a 28830. I see under bandwidth management, QUOS, but when I go in I can only see WAN1, 2, and 3. I'm looking to create a SSID for the AP, then setup QUOS on this. I havent' a clue where to start on this, googling and searching for Youtube videos haven't helped me in the slightest. Anyone? vmware 5.5 and higher how is accessibility

Hi all, Could someone shat a lite on accessibility of the latest versions of vmware? I don't mean the workstation thing, butt vmware on a server level in combination with A san and such. Can we still do our job via ssh? And how is the client these days in terms of accessibility with a screenreader? Would like to read some resent experiences if possible. Thanks in advance, Vincent.

Looking for some good books

Can anyone please recommend some good and hopefully current books on C and variants, Visual Basic and variants, and .NET programming in general? I've been outa the biz for so long, I feel my skills creek with rust, and having proper books on these topics would probably be an excellent idea. I have a couple programming projects in mind for myself, but would prefer not to have to rely on age-old knowledge without a handy can of literary educational oil to loosen the rusty knowledge bits. LOL.

Windows rescue

Anybody recall the magic key sequence needed to rescue a Windows 7 computer from a Win7 installation CD? I believe it involves booting from the CD, opening a command window, and then typing a rescue command. Googl ing tells me that you can open a command window when booted from an installer CD by pressing F10. Lots of people say you can then type "bootrec /fixboot" but that doesn't seem to work. I've done this before and that doesn't ring a bell. I think there is a command to run the rescue program on the CD but I can't recall what it is. -- --- John G.
