Ubiquiti and/or PFSense access

Hi all, I have a new flat and with it comes a 1GBPs Ethernet connection as part of the building service. The router they have given me is causing me a lot of issues so I want to upgrade it. I have been looking at different models and I have discount a lot due to the 1GBPs connection. I have a Sophos router from a previous job, but it doesn't support IPV6. At this point I am looking at potentially going with a Synology router, the Unifi kit or a PFSense build. has anyone used any of this and can comment on the usability with JFW? i know the Synology will be pritty much the same as the NAS, though they don't have a demo site for the router. I am going to check out the Ubiquiti demo site next but I know people on this list were using it. Thanks. Andrew.

removing packages from Synology DSM

Hello All, Does anyone have a sure way of removing packages from Synology DSM 7.x? There are buttons that are unlabeled and also disabled in the Package Manager; and I also cannot find a menu to uninstall and existing package. When I select a package, it just seems to open it. Regards, Tim

Completed online Microsoft exam with screen reader

Hi. Just managed to pass the AZ104 exam with a screen reader. It took a bit of getting right but the exam worked in the end. There was an outstanding issue with the chat window as the proctor was trying to contact me as I was leaning outside the webcam view area and I didn't realise it so they had to interrupt the exam but we got it sorted. I will probably right up the process more later on and try and take another test to see if the process is any easier but its possible to do at least some of these exams online now. Thanks. Andrew.

Microsoft exams with screen reader - actually scheduling the test

Hi. I have now finally got permissions from Pearson Vue to take Microsoft exams with a screen reader. Has anyone else got this before and managed to successfully schedule a test? I tried to do this but when I tried to take the test the invigilator didn't have anything about me using a screen reader even though the accommodation was on my account. He believed I may need to go through a separate schedule process. I asked the guys last week about this but haven't heard anything back and need to take some exams to get myself on a client project. win10 upgrade broke wsl2 Ubuntu terminal cut paste

Hello, I'm running the latest win10 upgrade. As of yesterday i.e. before I crashed for the night, I had wsl2 running with a Ubuntu setup that when I selected something in windows and did a control+c then a control+v in terminal the item would be pasted, for example a url passed to wget. I believe that the key also brought up a menu but am not 100% sure as I used it so rarely, point is it was working. Got moving today and saw that this machine had rebooted since it had to install an update, now the copy paste in Ubuntu terminal is no longer working and I'm not seeing how to get it back.
