Hi, Tried this tonight and it's beautiful! You select the platform and architecture. It downloads the files and you can select to either make an ISO, a USB installer or just leave the files in the folder you execute the app from. Copy it to a DVD and run the update.exe under the client folder and away it goes. Dead handy to carry the updates around with you, especially when dealing with clients with slow computers/connections. If they dont' have the latest SP installed you'll need to manually reboot after this installs. However, once that's done you can temporarily allow it to auto reboot/recall and it flys through. What it actually does is creates a temporary Admin user account for this. Unattend 7 64 Bit

Hi folks, I'm hoping someone can offer help here. I'm pulling my hair out because no matter what I do I can't get my Unattended image to boot. I've tried using WAIK and SIM, but every single guide and reference .xml file I can find is for 32Bit and when I try and make changes for 64 it never, ever ever works. So I thought I'll take the lazy approach and used Vlite to create the uattend, the image and finally burn the .ISO to DVD. Fine everything looks grand. It's re-built the image I selected, the Autounattend XML file is on the disc. It will not boot! This is a 2 year old Toshiba . I don't believe for one second the BIOS Boot order doesn't have either CD or USB before HD. Vlite claims it makes the ISO Bootable and I cant' find anything online to say otherwise. I tried following the USB disk process here, http://onj.me/4eu and keep getting an error that Bootsec isnt' compatible with the version of Windows I'm using. I'm using 7 32Bit Ultimate to just make a USB stick Bootable. Is it because I'm writing toa 64Bit installer? Hi, Not really... Active Directory is a central database containing authentication information for users, which allows users to access network resources using a centrally stored username and password. That is a very simplistic description of it, but will probably help you. Let's take an example of you logging into your machine at the start of the day. When you enter in a username and password to log into Windows, and you are logging into a workstation at home, you are authenticating against a local database called the SAM database (Security Accounts Manager). In contrast, when you log into a machine which is on a network, you want to log in as the same user on several machines. A local SAM database is not sufficient in this regard, so a central database is created, this is called Active Directory. Taking it further, you may have services on the network for mail and other applications. You don't want to have to sign in to the services separately, but control the access to those services using the same account information throughout the network. This is where Active Directory also comes into its own. I wouldn't worry too much about this at this stage, if you are going to get training on the job you are doing, then you shouldn't find it too difficult. By the way, for some reason you are subscribed to the list under a different address than you are posting under, and I am having to approve all the postings you make manually to the list. Windows server 2003 accessibility with jaws for windows v13

Hello, I was recommended to join this list by a friend. I have applied for an it helpdesk job and a small part of this job is using windows server 2003. I have never used any versions of windows server and would like to ask on this list for all the help and hints/tips you can give me on whether windows server 2003 can be used with jaws 13. I have been called for an assessment to use the server and use basic tasks such as adding and removing users. Does the server setup take time, if so, what is required? I am sorry if i have not been very clear in this email, but i have never had any experience with windows server. Please could someone get back to me as soon as possible.

RSA SecurID

Hi, We currently have an old SecurID with the old token setup. I don't use this atm because I am unable to see the numbers on the token. We are looking at upgrading or replacing this, does anyone use the iPhone app and find it usable? I am unable to test this as when I go into the app it needs a security license which we don't have. Any alternative products that may be more workable? Thanks. Andrew.
