Whitelisting a domain on Office 365 Exchange
by Barry Toner 06 Dec '15

Hi all, I have one person who's emails I'm not receiving on the tonermail.co.uk domain. I've checked Junk and Clutter, so I thought the next step would be to whitelist their domain. I've read several places that I need to log in to Office 365, go to Admin, go to Exchange, go to Mail Flow, click Bypass Spam and there should be an option to select Whitelist domains. I can't see Mail Flow anywhere I've looked. I can see Mail Protection but this is just showing me the number of mails received and number of mails filtered in variables such as 7, 30 das etc. Can anyone point me in the right direction for where I should be looking for mail flow? Thanks, Barry.

Using Unattended setup files for one-off Windows server installs
by Katherine Moss 06 Dec '15

Hi all, I've been looking at this for a bit and I can't find anything definitive. I'm trying to do the following: Create an autounattend.xml file via Windows SIM that covers all passes of the Windows installation Use my newly created file in order to install one of my Virtual machines (I don't care about capturing an image, for this is just so that I don't need to go through all of the steps manually, and so that I do not require the assistance of a sighted individual (sysprep and image capture will come later with SCCM) Ensure that Hyper-V will recognize the file (the question is where to place the file so that it is automatically discovered by Windows setup, since the use of a virtual rather than a physical machine seems to complicate things; read something about someone writing the file to the virtual DVD-Rom drive added to the VM, though God only knows how they did that) Input would be great ... Thanks!

Comparing two machines installed updates
by David Mehler 04 Dec '15

Hello, I'm needing to compare the updates installed on two win7 machines, and I was hoping there was a simple way to get the kb information from both boxes in to a a file then run some checks, like for example machine a has one update while machine b does not, but machine b has two updates machine a does not. I am not looking to install every MS update on these machines so having two fully updated win7 machines is not my objective. Thanks. Dave.

Hello, Has anyone got an accessible way to do a bios upgrade? I'm wondering if any of the accessible cd/dvds will work? I've got a machine that needs one. Thanks. Dave.

initializing disks
by Katherine Moss 30 Nov '15

Hi all, I have a server with four disks in it (two of which I attempted to put them on a storage space, but that resulted somehow in an unbootable machine), so now when I reinstalled the OS (Windows server 2012 R2), they show up in device manager, but not in either disk part or disk management. What is the best way for a blind person to attempt to initialize them? The unallocated space section of disk manager seems rather invisible to screen readers. And, while we're at it, I'd love some suggestions as to why my storage space attempt failed ... Microsoft wouldn't be so dense or stupid as to allow you to put a boot drive or system reserved (which I had idiotically attempted to delete) on the storage space, now would they? So, what happened was this: I created a storage space using the two drives I had in there doing nothing. And then I brought the unit down for updates, and as is typical for this server ever since I upgraded it's ram, I have to strike the F1 key each time he reboots for some strange reason. So, did that. The machine kept cycling boot ... wouldn't ever boot back into Wwindows. Reinstalled the OS and now here we are, me trying to find my drives.
