Date: Friday, March 22, 2013 Time: 9:00 PM until 11:00 PM eastern Where: Team Talk Server through Curtin University Center for Accesible Technology Monica Willyard who teaches the HTML5 and CSS Course through Cisco Visions and Curtin University Center for Accessible Technology will be giving a seminar which will be recorded as a podcast, on how to build a basic web site. This two hour seminar will be held on the CiscoVisions Team Talk server address of: tt.cucat.org Please note: (use the default ports as provided when setting up your Team Talk Channel for this seminar) What you should have: It is best that if you want to participate in this seminar, that you use a Headset with microphone. If you do not have a headset combination with Microphone, a stand-a-alone microphone plus a headset will work as well. For the benefit of all, if you want to participate and not have the annoyance of feedback, then you should avoid using a microphone with speakers. Calculator

Hello Everyone, Can anyone recommend a good accessible calculator that is capable of working with numbers in various formats such as binary, hex and decimal? The windows calculator does ok but it can be a little bit of a pain in the butt to do a lot of work on conversions of numbers. Thanks, Greg B.

Learning Windows Server

Anyone got a good starter resource for learning either of the three versions of WS out there--2003, 2008, or the new 2012--either free or on the cheap? I don't know if I'm quite ready for a five-day Microsoft course, and I surely don't have five-day Microsoft course money, but the title of a good thirty-five-dollar book would not go unappreciated. TIA

Domain Wide Password Policies

Hi all, Just a quicky: is there any way, other than an MMC snap-in or from a domain controller's administrative tools, to set criteria for a domain-wide password policy? Ideally a command line tool with an answerfile would be amazing! Sorry I haven't contributed much to the list; not really my field yet and the stuff you guys talk about is often over my head. Which antivirus do you find the most accessible

Hy. I remember the days when about 10 years ago we could choose from diferent tools for antivirus, from basic to very advanced one, and almost all of them were accessible. However, today the situation doesn’t look nice at all with new versions coming out which are becoming more and more inaccessible. If we exclude ms security essentials which could be ok for home user, wich tool do you find the most accessible and usable with screen readers? Thanks for the answer Mario

Hello, I'm looking for a Windows network scanner that is screen reader friendly, free/open source prefered. I've tried on a recommendation one called Advanced IP Network Scanner, tried that with both jfw and NVDA and I couldn't get anything out of it with either screen reader. My thinking was it is a qt application, which NVDA in my experience does much better with. Well, it wasn't. I'm wondering if it is a great graphic. Suggestions welcome. Thanks. Dave.
